Snorkeling and diving activities are prohibited in the islets of the National Marine Park of the Archipelago of Espiritu Santo.
The restriction will last from June 1 to August 31, 2022, announced the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) and the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (Conanp).
They also announced that, as of May 28, 2022, the census of the sea lion colony had a record of 384 sea lions.
