  • 147 passengers were aboard the plane that veered off the runway and became stuck in the snow after landing in Minneapolis.

Los Cabos Mexico. The fligth 1819 from Delta Airlines departed San Jose del Cabo Airport at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday for the Minneapolis Airport, United States, which landed at 6:40 p.m.

According to international press reports, winter storm that had raged that day caused the runway to be in poor condition to receive flight 1819.

Plane’s main cushioning wheel, came off the pavement some 30 feet, getting stuck in the snow causing several flights to be diverted to neighboring airports as the runway was closed in order to move the plane from the area where it was stuck on Tuesday afternoon.

After landing, passengers were disembarked and taken to the airport terminal. The airline told U.S. media that fortunately no passengers or crew members were injured.
