- In the early morning of Sunday, June 19, an armed aggression was reported inside the naval facilities in Mulegé. A Navy officer is accused of kill two of his fellow officers and a civilian woman.
The alleged attacker was placed at the disposal of the corresponding authorities, after registering a hostile attitude against the naval personnel, informed the Secretary of the Navy.
In a press release, the Secretary of the Navy assured that what happened was an isolated act committed by a bad public servant, and, it pointed out, “is contrary to the conduct that is instilled in the elements of this institution”.
They also affirmed that it “does not tolerate this type of actions and reiterates its obligation to act for the benefit and support of Mexican society in order to fulfill its mission to serve Mexico”.
