140 Thousand Tourist Arrived This Easter Week Season

After registering an average hotel occupancy rate of 80%, which represented the arrival of more than 140 thousand visitors and an economic revenue of more than 40 million dollars.

Head of the Ministry of Tourism and Economy (Setue) announced that the tourism industry of Baja California Sur (BCS) closed the Easter Week season with excellent numbers.

The official explained that these figures speak not only of the recovery that this activity is having throughout the state, but also of the reestablishment of BCS as one of the best places for vacationing.


In this sense, he mentioned that this tourist flow was mainly reflected in lodging services, food, tours, local transportation and economic activities of the tourism services chain.

We are very satisfied with the results obtained this Easter Week, because that means more jobs and income for the families of Southern California. That has been one of the main commitments of this administration, that our consolidated tourist destinations and also those localities with all the potential for tourism, benefit from this industry,” he said.
