According to the published MetMex forecast, this Monday a marked drop in temperatures will be felt in the north of Baja California Sur (BCS), precisely in Mulegé, Comondú and Loreto, while on Tuesday it will reach La Paz and Los Cabos.
In this sense, rain is expected from December 29 to 31 in various regions throughout the state, with the greatest amount of rain expected in Punta Eugenia, Guerrero Negro, Vizcaino and the area between La Paz and Loreto. In Los Cabos light rain is expected the night of December 31 and the morning of January 1.
Likewise, it was reported that, although extreme minimum temperatures close to 0 degrees Celsius are not expected due to humidity and cloudiness, maximum temperatures will be between 15 and 20 degrees with wind gusts of 45 kilometers per hour (km/h) to 55km/h, which will generate a greater sensation of cold.
In the case of La Paz, strong winds are forecast from December 30 to January 4, as well as the probable fall of rain on December 30 and 31, with maximum temperatures of 18 to 21 degrees Celsius.
