It was announced that the first swordfish catch in Cabo San Lucas -of the 2022 season-, took place this Wednesday, March 30, according to a well-known sport fishing fleet of the tourist destination.
“It weighed approximately 260 pounds (118 kilograms), which becomes the first of the season in Cabo San Lucas,” was published on the official website of the sports agency.
In addition, it was reported that the vessel in which the capture was carried out was an external vessel to the company that published it, named Gaviota IX, in charge of Captain César Ruiz and his assistant, Mate Plutarco Ceseña.
It should be noted that “Captain César” would already have experience catching this type of specimens, since, according to the sport fishing company, he would have been at the helm during the capture of 8 of these marine animals.
