- UFC president Dana White said he was ashamed and apologized for slapping his wife after a discussion.
The altercation originated at a Los Cabos nightclub; alcohol was involved, but there’s no excuse, UFC president said.
“My wife and I went out Saturday night on New Year’s Eve and unfortunately that’s what happened. There’s never an excuse for a man to put his hands on a woman and now here I am on TMZ talking about it,” Dana White told TMZ Sports.
For her part, her wife accepted that a similar incident had not happened before and noted that it had been discussed and apologized for by both parties.
