No injuries, evacuation of crew members from the ferry that caught fire in Pichilingue

Although no one was injured in the accident in Pichilingue, one of the crew members showed symptoms of vertigo and was stabilized.

As a result of the outbreak of fire that occurred during the morning of Saturday, March 26, on a large ferry-type vessel, the Civil Protection agent informed that the crew was successfully evacuated.

It should be recalled that this fire was reported during the early hours of Saturday in a cargo vessel; the damage was recorded in the vicinity of the port of Pichilingue, in the area of San Rafaelito.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the accident; however, one of the crew members was dizzy and was quickly stabilized by specialists.
