Masks Use no longer mandatory

Commercial establishments may stay open after 2:00 a.m.

Due to the decrease in active cases of COVID-19 in the municipality, the State Health Safety Committee determined that the use of masks is no longer mandatory in open spaces, while in closed spaces they must be worn correctly.

It was reported that the sanitary measures that are still active for the benefit of the citizens and in order to avoid the increase of active cases of COVID-19, are: constant hand washing and use of antibacterial gel, as well as respecting the healthy distance and ventilation in closed spaces.


It should be noted that, at the time of writing, there are 34 active cases of COVID-19 and no patients have been hospitalized at the destination.

To conclude, the Municipal Director of Health in Los Cabos, Dr. Juan Carlos Costich Perez stated that they will continue working together with other governmental agencies to continue with the health operations in local establishments to verify that the correct use of masks in enclosed spaces is respected.
