The Madrid-Los Cabos route will be operated aboard a new generation Airbus A350 of Iberojet, an airline owned by Ávoris Corporación Empresarial, with the capacity to transport 432 passengers per operation.
Head of the Ministry of Tourism and Economy, Maribel Collins Sanchez recalled that starting next June there will be a direct, non-stop flight from Madrid, Spain to Los Cabos.
In this regard, the Secretary of Tourism expressed that in the first eight months, the Government of Baja California Sur (BCS) has worked with the private sector to strengthen air connectivity and position the state among the most competitive destinations in tourism.
She informed that this flight marks the beginning of more connections from Europe to BCS, in addition to boosting the destination’s activity and attracting the emerging European market, which is expected to attract more than 8,000 additional visitors by 2022.
Maribel Collins assured that this strengthens the promotion of the natural beauties, the quality of service and the warmth of the people of Southern California, being the letter of presentation with which visitors are received.
