- With the participation of more than 1,600 athletes of 39 nationalities and after 3 years of absence, the Ironman triathlon returned to Los Cabos.
Last Sunday morning, the awards ceremony for the “Ironman 70.3 Los Cabos” took place at Las Palmas Park where the medals and the symbolic check were presented to the respective winners.
In the men’s category the winner was the Swiss Adriano Hengel Heart and in the women’s category the Canadian Rachel McBride.
The start of the race began in the early hours of the morning with the sunrise, with the open sea swim, followed by the cycling and finally the foot race.
- 1.9 km swim. 90 km of road cycling and 21 km of running.
The Ironman 70.3, which took place from November 4 to 6 in the municipality of Los Cabos, resulted in an economic benefit of approximately 150 million pesos.
