It is the first time that this celebration for the deceased is held in the house of the US government.

This Monday, the administration of President Joe Biden released images of the offering that has an image of the Virgin of Guadalupe in the center. The painting was donated by the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. The Day of the Dead is a festival that is celebrated in Mexico every November 2. In the Christian tradition it is the day of the faithful departed, and it is the moment when people take the opportunity to remember their deceased loved ones.
