Los Cabos to Cancun, marathon runner to embark on super human route

With the aim of raising awareness about the importance of physical activity, as well as to know and highlight the wonders of Mexico, the marathon runner from Nuevo Leon, Daniel Almanza, heads the project “Super Human”, which will give great promotion to Baja California Sur (BCS), being the destination chosen for its start this coming January 17.

Thalia Agúndez Arámburo, Director of Tourism Promotion of the Ministry of Tourism, Economy and Sustainability (Setues), informed that Daniel Almanza will travel the half peninsula from January 17 to 31, running about 60 kilometers per day for 100 days until he reaches his final destination, with Cancun, Quintana Roo, as his goal.

“This project is a great initiative, a motivation and example to follow as a society, since Super Human also aims to collect support for the food bank. We can accompany him on his journey through BCS by running a few kilometers with him, even making some contributions for the cause,” he said.

Finally, Thalia Agúndez commented that on the web page https://superhuman.mx you can find all the details related to this tour, information on the days and dates of the runner’s passage.
