The panic buttons in Cabo San Lucas have been used in 42 events; 15 of them were by aggressive people in an inconvenient state

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). The president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Los Cabos Carlos Tinoco revealed that, so far, they have already installed 58 panic buttons of the 100 planned to implement in the shops of the downtown area in Cabo San Lucas, in addition to without any use of this tool on 42 occasions.

“Right now, the goal is to get to install 100 panic buttons at different points in the shops, at the moment, we already have 58 installed. They have already been used in 42 events that were for risk or suspicion; 15 of them were for aggressive people for inadequate condition and 4 for theft,” he said.

He recalled the president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Los Cabos, Carlos Tinoco that the installation of the 100 panic buttons stopped a little, because of the theme that generated the pandemic, so now, with the local reactivation in the area, they have already launched the call so that the installation of the rest of the tools they intend can be carried out.

“Panic buttons are for different things, not just for theft, but can also be installed when there is an accident, quarrel, when there is a person who may be suffering from a heart attack or a quarrel, any event that can alert corporations to be cared for.”

Finally, the president of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Los Cabos Carlos Tinoco recalled that he remembered at the Security Tables of the Coordinating Council of the Capes, where they have a voice and vote, was that the installation of this tool was put on the table, the same initiative that, he said, has been working for years, but they have not given the opportunity to materialize it.
